Midget A2 wins Silver at Markham-Stouffville Stars Tournament
After finishing the round robin tied for first in Pool B with a record of 2 wins and tie, Whitby knocked off North Durham in the quarterfinals and then Etobicoke in the semi finals to reach the gold medal game. In the semi finals Whitby was down down by 2 goals with only 4 minutes to play and scored twice to even it up before winning in dramatic fashion in 4 on 4 overtime. In the finals a very strong Ancaster team won gold with a 4-2 victory over Whitby. Congrats ladies!
