The WGHA is now accepting Registration and payment for the coming 2010/2011 hockey season.  Registrations will only be accepted through the online system.  Please read the following carefully for further instructions.

Due to the impending HST, and Town of Whitby fee increases, the registration cost for the coming season has also increased.  As our Association continues to grow, we are seeking to purchase extra ice times to accommodate this growth.  A  time dated discount is available.    Having said that, we have limited spots available in our programs, and therefore the following registration restrictions have been put into place     

Registration from March 6th - June 1st  will be for Existing WGHA players only.  The cost will be $505.00 which needs to be paid in full in order for your registration to be valid and your spot secure. 

After June 1st, the registration will be Open for any new players wishing to register into any remaining spots.  The fee will remain $505.00 until June 30th, 2010 at 11:59 p.m. when the system will be shut down and restarted and the cost of registration will increase to $605.00.   There will be no exceptions.  The WGHA is not responsible for system difficulties and will not extend the deadline under any circumstances:  all records of system entry are time stamped by the On-line system.     

In divisions where the maximum number of players is reached, a first come first served waiting list will be started.  Any withdrawal prior to September 6th, 2010 will be subject to the $75.00 administrative fee.  Withdrawal after September 6th, 2010 will be subject to the $75.00 administrative fee plus a prorated fee for ice.  There will be no refunds issued after October 31st, 2010.      

For Representative players, you must be registered prior to tryouts.  You will have the option of purchasing the one time tryout card for $15.00 with your registration.  Make sure that you have paid in full and that you bring your receipt to each tryout as proof of purchase.  If you do not purchase a tryout card, you will be subject to  a charge of $15.00 per skate.   New Non Resident players can not register until a valid release has been obtained from their home association.   For House League players, your registration is not complete until you have paid in full.  The WGHA will not hold your spot or be responsible for registrations that are incomplete, or not paid in full.  Rider requests will not be accepted.   ALL REGISTRATION INQUIRES SHOULD BE FORWARDED TO CATHIE SOPER, WGHA REGISTRAR:  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Please be sure to print off your online receipt as this is your receipt for tax purposes.  Requests for a duplicate receipt will be at a cost of $5
