We are looking for a passionate volunteer who will be responsible for overall planning, coordination and execution of the Tournament of Heroes—one of our most exciting events of the year!
Role Overview:
The Tournament Coordinator is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and execution of the Tournament of Heroes. While no longer a Board role, this volunteer position plays a vital part in delivering a smooth and successful tournament experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage the scope of the tournament within the allocated budget.

Work closely with the tournament coordinator (GGTS) to ensure seamless operations—this includes scheduling, volunteer coordination, logistics, and dispute resolution.

Ensure compliance with OWHA rules, policies, and safety standards.

Collaborate with communications volunteers or third-party partners (e.g., GGTS) to ensure timely responses and clear communication with teams and vendors before and during the tournament.

Support post-tournament wrap-up and feedback collection for future improvement
