Peewee AA wins Gold at the Tournament of Heroes
The Peewee AA girls won GOLD this weekend at the Whitby Tournament of Heroes. The girls worked hard all weekend long against some great teams. They were able to win all 4 games in their round robin, to meet Bluewater in the Semi-finals winning 3-1. In the finals, they met back up with North York Storm after playing them in the round robin. North York took the lead early, but Whitby tied it up towards the end of the first. The battle continue until Whitby was able to take the lead at the beginning of the third. North York never gave up, pulling their goalie in the last few minutes which allowed for a couple empty net goals for Whitby. The final score was 4-1.
