MIdget BB Golden in London Tournament
What an amazing weekend! The girls went undefeated the whole tournament placing 1st in the round robin of their pool. When competing against a very physical team during the semi-finals, the girls did not give in and won with a score of 3-2. During the finals, the opposing team was very eager to redeem themselves as they lost 4-0 during the round robin. Our girls scored 2 goals after the first 5 minutes into the 1st period, putting pressure in the opposing team's end. However; the other team didn't give up and tied the game during the third period after two power plays. The girls were determined to win gold and scored the winning goal with only 6 minutes to go.
