About the Whitby Wolves Competitive (REP) Program

Mission Statement:
To provide opportunities for higher calibre female players to learn and improve in a positive and fun environment that challenges them according to proper age-level considerations as defined by Hockey Canada’s Long Term Player Development model.
What is the Competitive Program?
It provides access to trained coaches and team access to a full range of developmental programs to allow the teams and players to maximize their development.
The Competitive Program includes:
Trained and mentored coaches
An active coach mentorship and coach education program, directed and delivered by the WGHA Technical Coordinator, that includes on and off-ice instruction and guidance
Technical and tactical curricula shaped to the needs of each age level
Guest coach observation initiatives with our HPP teams
Access for coaches to a plethora of resources, including software, practice and segment planning templates, skills videos, presentations, and much more to assist in developing players to their highest potential
Access to skills, skating, and goaltending development for the players from carefully selected private instructors
Access to mental performance and physical training programs to improve the development and experience of the players
