U15 DS Wins Silver in Scarborough!
Congratulations to our U15 DS team for bringing home the silver medal this past weekend.
After going 1-1-1 in the round robin round, our girls played an incredible semi-final game against the Clarington Flames. The fans were treated to a 3-3 score after regulation and the bonus action of overtime and a 4 round shoot out victory.
In the finals, they faced the high scoring Kitchener Rangers and held them to only 2 goals in the eventual 2-0 loss. Coming into the tournament, the team had yet to play a game together. Their transformation from game 1 to game 5 of the tournament was incredible to see.
We are very proud of these young athletes and look forward to the next tournament in Ottawa during family day weekend.
