Wolves Have a Strong Weekend at the USA Canada Cup in Detroit!
The U18AA Wolves had an incredible weekend in Detroit this past weekend, finishing with a record of 3-1-1. They finished the weekend as silver championship finalists after a shootout loss to Chicago. Backed by strong goaltending by both Lauren Lyons and Abby Parkinson and a full team effort, they were able to come on top against some of the top US teams. Wins included a 5-3 victory over Top 10 Pittsburgh Elite, a 7-4 victory against Top 5 Little Caesars and a 1-1 T in the Silver Championship against Chicago Mission.
The U18AA Wolves now turn their focus to a pair of league games this weekend against Peterborough at home on Friday (Home Opener) and Belleville on the road Saturday.
