Welcome Ange Varsamis as Director of Coach and Player Development
The board would like to welcome Ange Varsamis to the executive.
.Ange is an avid hockey coach with 27 years of experience coaching minor hockey in the Markham Minor Hockey Association at the AAA and AA level where he was instrumental in winning many championships and helping athletes reach their dreams of playing at the highest level.
Ange has had the privilege of coaching 2 of his 3 children in hockey while they were growing up and then the honour of mentoring them as young coaches starting out.
Since 2021 Ange has been spending time with the WGHA and has been able to get to know many of the coaches and players in the U9 to U13 age groups.
We look forward to having Ange's experience assist the board as we head into the final stretch of the season.
