The U9B Wolves delivered an unforgettable performance at the Collingwood Thundersnow Tournament, capturing the championship in what was a milestone weekend for the team. Competing in their first-ever full ice tournament, the Wolves rose to the challenge, going undefeated throughout the entire weekend. The tournament featured several tight, back-and-forth games that tested the team’s resilience, teamwork, and determination. One standout performance included a shutout victory by the Wolves’ goaltender, highlighting the team’s strong defensive play and commitment in their own zone.
The championship game lived up to the excitement. After an intense battle through two periods, the Wolves held a 2–1 lead at the end of the second. Refusing to let up, they continued to pressure in the third period and were rewarded with an additional goal, sealing a 3–1 victory and the tournament title.
