Certifications

Trainer certification is done online. Please see the trainers section on the WGHA website under bench staff resources for details. A Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders and valid criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening is also needed. The WGHA compensates a portion of the Trainers course and RIS certifications. Once the courses are completed a reimbursement notice will be posted on the WGHA website in January.
