Purple Thunder finish top 4 in Kingston
Submitted By Mike Basque on Sunday, January 7, 2018
The Novice Purple Thunder had a great tournament in Kingston.
Pool play was very evenly matched with a lot of ties and close games.  The girls went undefeated to take the top spot in the pool.
The quarter final saw the girls put in one of their best efforts in an early morning game to shut out Kingston 4-0.
In the semi-final, the girls battled hard, but could not overcome a very strong Glengarry Highlands team and lost 5-3. Glengarry went on to win gold in the tournament.
Congrats on a top 4 finish out of 16 teams
