Jr Wolves selected to the 24-player roster for Canada's U18 women's hockey team
Whitby Wolves Brooke McQuigge and Maggie MacEachern are off to Lake Placid with Canada's U18 women's hockey team to compete in a three-game series against the United States.

McQuigge is among 14 forwards and MacEachern one of seven defencemen selected from 43 players who recently attended a selection camp in Calgary.

McQuigge has been named team captain for the Lake Placid series and is one of four players selected who had won silver at the 2017 IIHF U18 Women's World Championship last January.

Following the series in Lake Placid, Hockey Canada will continue to evaluate players with their provincial and club teams during the 2017/2018 season in preparation for selecting the Canadian team that will compete at the 2018 IIHF U18 Women's World Championship in Russia.

Congratulations on this extraordinary achievement girls!
