Special Message from Tiya Bainbridge
Submitted By Rob MacDonald on Thursday, January 21, 2021
Dear Hockey Family,

Thank you for giving me support and hope during my cancer treatments.  Many days I was weak and could not get out of bed but your support made me feel stronger.  As many of you know, I started Tiya's Purpose to help Sick Kids Hospital support children dealing with hard times. Thanks to our community, Tiya's Purpose has raised over $36,000 for Sick Kids Hospital!

This month, after almost half a year of chemotherapy treatment, my Oncologist told me I was cancer free!!!  I "rang the bell" and I was so excited, happy and full of emotion.  One of my wishes is to play hockey again and get back on the ice. I want to thank my hockey family who have helped me through this journey.
See you at the rink, thank you!
Love,
Tiya
