2017/18 Rep Clothing
Submitted By Tyler Barnett on Tuesday, April 25, 2017
2017 is an exciting year for the Whitby Wolves organization.  We’re celebrating our 20th anniversary and to do so, the executive has decided to change the colour of our home uniform from the traditional white to Nashville yellow.

It’s the first of our 3 year clothing cycle and we thought we would take the opportunity to make the change because of the great response to the Junior Wolves yellow third jerseys.

We are also working on a special 20th anniversary logo that will be added to the shoulder of the jerseys this year.

Team fittings will begin right after tryouts are complete the week of May 1st to May 6th at Supreme Sports/Play it Again Sports. They will ensure extra staff is on site that week to help with the fittings.  Instead of having Supreme Sports bill the organization for the team’s apparel, the players will pay for their jerseys and off ice apparel at the time of fitting.  This will simplify the process and reduce the cost to the association.  Once the jerseys and off ice apparel is paid for, the players must send proof of purchase (picture of the receipt) to their coach/manager.  The coach/manager of each team is responsible to ensure that all players get fitted and pay for their clothing that week to ensure timely delivery of the clothing prior to the start of the season.

The fittings in May will include the mandatory clothing only; jerseys, warm up suit, and t-shirt. We are working with Supreme Sports on expanding the Wolves clothing line with some exciting new options which will be offered later in the year including special hoodies, shorts, yoga pants, hats and t-shirts including some with our 20th anniversary logo.  Keep an eye on the Wolves website throughout the summer and we will also send clothing updates through the team managers.  Next season, the new apparel will be permitted under the mandatory clothing but for consistency, the mandatory clothing must be worn in and out of the rink for all games.  It will be the coach’s/manager’s responsibility to ensure that their player adhere to these expectations.
