Submitted By Weslyn Donaldson on Tuesday, January 16, 2018
Novice Lightning Bolts Win Silver in Clarington Flamesfest!! This past weekend, Novice Lightning Bolts went undefeated going into the Flamesfest Championship Game with a record of 4 wins & 1 tie.

Our Novice wolves played the Clarington Flames in the semis which was the Wolves 3rd game on Saturday ending with a 7-0 win taking them to the finals. In the Championship game on Sunday vs. Oshawa Lady Generals, the pace was back and forth all game with lots of chances and great goal tending ending the game 0 – 0 to send into overtime. Overtime consisted with 4 on 4 and our Wolves almost scored when the Lady Generals shot on net to find a loose puck after our goalie initially covered the puck but was knocked in with only 2 mins remaining in OT.Congratulations to the entire Novice Wolves team and staff Head Coach Ryan Irving, Assistant Coaches Ryan Long and Ryan Gerber and Trainer Tracey Hall.
