Thank you for your interested in trying out for the U18 DS team.
Read on for some key details about the season ahead.
Practices:
- I expect the team to have about 1 practice per week
I fully appreciate players in U18 often need to prioritize school. Flexibility will be available in terms of practice attendance where school needs to take priority.
Games:
- 8 exhibition games - most likely a home & away series with four other associations such as Leaside, Central York, Clarington and Kingston
- Most games will likely be on weekends as U18 house league programs in Whitby and other associations often run on weeknights
I will do my best to avoid scheduling games during key times such as the January high school exam week and March Break.
Tournaments (tentative):
- Scarborough New Year's Classic - January 5-7
- Durham West Hearts and Bolts - February 16-18
- Brampton Easter Classic - March 28-31
