Peewee DS, 2018-19, DS (Whitby Girls Hockey Association)

Congratulations to the Whitby Peewee DS team on their hard work and strong showing at the Mississauga Chiefs Winter Classic tournament. After going 4-0 in the round robin, the team played a tight challenge in the semi-finals against Oakville. Following three even periods of play and overtime, the game was decided in a shootout. Whitby came up just short, but advanced to the bronze medal game against Mississauga where they came out with a 4-0 shutout victory to earn their medals. This was the team’s first tournament of the season and their record this season now stands at a 8-1-0.
