Atom AA Wins Gold at Rochester Fire On Ice
Submitted By Shelia Cowling on Monday, November 4, 2019
The Whitby Wolves Atom AA team returned from the Rochester Fire On Ice tournament this past weekend as Gold Medal Champions!!

The team played four round robin games ending up with three shutout wins (7-0, 4-0 & 5-0) and one loss (2-1).  They rebounded for the semi final game winning 3-0 against the Barries Sharks to move to the finals against Stoney Creek Sabres.  In the end the Wolves were victorious with a 1-0 win to take home the gold!

That's five shutout wins in one tournament with 21 goals scored by Whitby and only having two scored against them!

Team work, dedicated coaches, loyal fans mixed with lots of fun and great memories made for a great weekend!

Congrats to the entire Atom AA team for their third tournament medal finish in the three tournaments they've played so far!
