The Whitby Girls Hockey Association is happy to announce the appointment of Paul Brooks as the head coach of the Jr. Wolves (U22) program.  Paul’s role will start at the beginning of the 2021/22 hockey season and is a two-year partnership with the WGHA.  Paul’s background and experience with women’s hockey is extensive, he is currently the head coach for the Toronto Jr Aeros and spent two seasons with Durham West Jr team for the 2018/19 and 2019/20 seasons.

Paul is also a committed member to the community of Whitby where he played his minor hockey as a child, playing junior in Durham region before being drafted by the Windsor Spitfires.  After his education at Brock University Paul’s hockey career eventually came full circle where he played for the Whitby Dunlops, representing Whitby at the 2007 Allan Cup.  Today Whitby is home to his family along with his two businesses that he spends his non hockey hours running.
