Early mornings had a SILVER lining in a fantastic weekend of hockey for the U13BB team!
It was a thrilling and successful tournament that showcased the passion, skill, and camaraderie of the team! Having played just a few exhibition games prior to this tournament, the players demonstrated great heart, hustle and sportsmanship this weekend; going undefeated in round robin play.
Off ice, the team participated in a laughter and ice cream filled team building session that brought them even closer together on ice!
The final game was an exciting match up, after a great battle during round robin play, setting the stage for an intense game. It was back and forth for each team, and even when Whitby was down on the scoreboard it did not stop them from giving it their all until the last buzzer!
Everyone is looking forward to a great season of hockey!
