Provincial Champions!
The Atom BB team captured the gold medal at the OWHA Provincial Championships beating the Grand River Mustangs by a score 1-0 in a thrilling game. Leading up to the medal round, the team did not have it easy. In the semi-final game against the North Simcoe Capitals, the team gave up a 2-0 lead late in the third period. But this team did not quit. They fought hard for not 1, not 2 but through 4 Over Time periods before scoring. They were on the ice for over 70 minutes before the game winner. The team played extremely well and worked hard all weekend (and all season) to earn their Provincial Championship!
