Peewee AA, 2018-19, REP (Whitby Girls Hockey Association)

The Peewee AA team won Gold this weekend at the LLFHL Best of the Best Tournament.  They played against London, Stoney Creek, Markham-Stouffville, Barrie and Clarington, resulting in 3 wins, 1 tie and 1 loss.  This record put them first overall heading into the Gold medal game against Markham-Stouffville.  They never stopped working together, illustrating why they were the Best of the Best.  Their efforts resulted in a 2-0 win and the honor to proudly wear the gold medal.  Thanks for a great season, to the players, coaches, trainers and parents.  It really is a team effort.    

The Peewee AA team had a great weekend touring Clarkson University.  The girls were able to tour the stadium where the Clarkson Women's University team play, as well as take in a game against Quinnipiac University.  To top it off the girls played two exhibition games against the Nepean Wildcats.  What a great weekend for our Peewee AA team!    

Congratulations to all the Peewee AA girls on winning Gold this past weekend at the Toronto Aeros Holiday Classic Tournament.  The girls battled hard during the round robin coming out ranked first with 3 wins and 1 tie.  In the semi-finals they played Oakville, winning the game in overtime to give them the chance at gold.  They faced up against North York Storm in the finals.  The girls were behind a goal going into the third period and were able the clinch the winning goal with less them a minute left in the game.  It had all the fans on the edge of their seats.        

The Peewee AA girls won GOLD this weekend at the Whitby Tournament of Heroes.  The girls worked hard all weekend long against some great teams.  They were able to win all 4 games in their round robin, to meet Bluewater in the Semi-finals winning 3-1. In the finals, they met back up with North York Storm after playing them in the round robin.  North York took the lead early, but Whitby tied it up towards the end of the first.  The battle continue until Whitby was able to take the lead at the beginning of the third.  North York never gave up, pulling their goalie in the last few minutes which ...

The Whitby Wolves Peewee AA team battled hard in the CCM World Invite Detroit Tournament this past weekend to come home victorious with a Gold Medal around their necks.  They went 6-0 battling against 5 different USA teams.  Great work Wolves, you definitely earned your metals
