Atom AA, 2016-17, REP (Whitby Girls Hockey Association)

The Atom AA team made the trip to Ottawa on December 28th to play in the Bell Capital Cup.  They took on the following teams in the round robin, Burlington Barracudas, Kanata Rangers, Stoney Creek Sabres and Oakville Hornets.  Winning all games in the round robin gave them first place heading into the semi-finals.  On December 30th the took on the Oakville Hornets in the semis.  The Oakville Hornets fought hard but the Whitby Wolves came out with a 2-1 win.  This advanced the Whitby Wolves to the finals played at the Canadian Tire Center against Durham West Lightning.  The girls were not ...

On Saturday September 10th, the Atom AA team started a season of team building with a 3 hour venture at Lakeridge Ski Resort.  The were challenged to work together and encouraged to over come their fears.  They all had a great time.
