Peewee BB, 2016-17, REP (Whitby Girls Hockey Association)

The Whitby Wolves Peewee BB team had a fantastic weekend in the NGHA 37th Annual Hockey Tournament.  The girls battled through 3 round robin games, seeding them against Massachusetts in the quarter finals.  The girls played a great game winning 2-1, moving them on to play against Clarington in the semi-finals Sunday morning.  Once again our Wolves did not disappoint, playing hard and winning by a score of 3-0.  This set the stage for a rematch against the home team Nepean.  Although the girls played a great game we had to settle for the silver medal, losing the finals 4-0.  Congratulations on ...

Peewee BB won the gold medal against the unbeaten Nepean Crunch in dramatic fashion.  The game ended tied 0-0 which lead to OT.  4-on-4 OT could not end the battle between these two teams so the game turned to shoot outs.  Goalies and Shooters put on a great show but the Whitby Wolves came out victorious, bringing home the Gold Medal!!!
